As you know, most of the Kusari Naval Forces active formations have been put on high alert after the declaration of hostilities with Rheinland. Even a lot of reserve units have been called to bolster our lines. We are not to have another surprise campaign like last time.
The quick deployment of the Hyono battlegroup, already part of the KNF security forces that were guarding the House sanctioned security corridor, prevented a complete rout in face of the Rheinland forces, who had been intensifying their contingent for months to apply harsh oppression on the Gas Miners Guild. It's concerning that the Government was willing to turn a blind eye on the whole mess, as long as Kusari interests or lives were not in danger. Well, they all were in danger from the start.
I have been recently redeployed to the Honshu system, where I received orders to sortie in assistance to frontline operations.
I was not able to do much in terms of combat, but was able to capture some few recon photos of enemy fleet movements, who seemed to have the numbers advantage during my sortie.
In addition to these records, some strange sightings on the area of operations, which I wasn't able to investigate further due to heavy enemy presence.
The Rheinland is boisterous, and its pilots tenacious, hungry for blood. I managed to outlast my pursuers with a silver of fuel on my engines, as the heavy evasive maneuvers worn them out and made them gave up the chase.
