Good morning Lieutenant,

I'm currently reviewing your project and i am intrigued by the concept. While i think the condor might not be the perfect chassis for such project, it's availability within Liberty make it somewhat a logical choice to begin with.

Looking at the specs you provided me, the limited amount of weapons mount would leave, unfortunatly, the ship vulnerable to light ships such as fighters and bombers. But i suppose you have already thought about this and don't concider using all the mount for heavy artillery.

Speaking of artillery, you wish to use which available weapons types on the H-bird?. Keep in mind that with the build, as you already say, will lose alot of cargo space while fitting a bigger core. This will leave the possibility of using ammo-based weapon really limited and the use of energy weaponry mean to get exposed at close range.

Also as yo said, you expect the ship to fill the gap between Defiant and Archer but on my standing point of view, it would be more logical to turn the ship into a heavy hitting, long-range torpedos or missiles plateform. I mean, with limited armor and weaponry, the ship need to deliver massive damage fast then leave as fast.

I would suggest that you develop a torpedo launcher that would be able to use standard nova torpedo ordinance or something like it. I would see a "mini" version of the desolator but again, would leave vulnerable to shortage. What are you intending to use as weaponry really matter for such project.

Also when its come to defensive capabilities, i am somewhat worried. From what i picture, it would be a ship that would need to work in duo with Defiant or Archer. It's limited armor and massive payload would make the ship a priority target. How you intend to fix that issue without altering the performance of the ship too bad?

But first thing first, you should first get your hands on a Condor and do the testing with the basic ship configuration and from there write a full report to your unit leading officer. I'm sure you understand that we can't simply give green light on this project without knowing the performances of the ship in real combat situation.

While i for the use of ressources to develop new technology that will give us the upper hand, you'll have to convince Taylor to request the funding for such endeavour. Personally i would agreed if there was no other project currently being tested. I love to see people trying to acheive their goal and bring new ideas on the table.

Keep me informed Dayton. You might have brought on the table, an idea that could work if it well designed. It could even lead into developping a heavier bomber or torpedo boat.
