Is a bug in Freelancer that allows someone to exploit game mechanics an exploit that is enabled by Digital Anvil? Or is it an exploit caused by a bug that needs to be patched?

More like, if Disco devs added a CD that has 5000 range and it has been so for 5 years, you wouldn't come after those five years to claim using such CD is an exploit.

While I agree with Antonio that playing around the rules to get engagement right that otherwise is not available, can be interpreted as low form, it is currently allowed by the staff itself and knowing how staff has changing interpretation on the rules, it's rather bad for players who are trying to push something out of the ordinary.
