And the bounty in question was literally posted mid-encounter. That is what everyone is forgetting. Posting a bounty on one of your chars for another of your chars to claim is fine. Posting a bounty from one of your chars for another of your chars - who happen to be staring down the party in question at the time, is not cool, or so I have been told.
