Phoenix Research Division

[History]

PRD is lead by two well trained and highly experienced brothers, who left the LSF Research Division due to the lacking support from their superiors concerning the Research of Nomad Technology. These two brothers later founded the Phoenix Research Division (PRD for short). Their goals were to study Nomad Technology and adapt it to suit human usage.

The LSF Research Division sent the two brothers, accompanied by a team of scientists on a mission to carry out research in the Omicron systems. The research was proving successful and the brothers got along well with the scientists. Some months passed and nomad activity around the research area was rising, due to unknown reasons. But this didn't stop the brothers or the Scientists. Even as the Nomad attacks increased, they did not even think for a second to break off their assignment. At one point, the Nomads overwhelmed the team in joint attack and they didn’t stand a chance. During the harsh battle, the scientists died while trying to escape on their own. The two brother were declared missing, after the LSF searched the area and could not find them or their bodies.

However the brothers had managed to escape using a single fighter. The heavily damaged ship was floating in space. All electronic systems had failed, hindering them from being found by the nomads and LSF rescue teams. With barely enough life support for the two of them, they managed to get the ship running again. They were able to find their way to a Zoner base, where they repaired the ship. From there they managed to return to Alaska, where the base of operations was located. Their sudden return was a shock to many, since most thought them to be dead. After reporting on what had happened, and showing the results of their research, the LSF approved them to continue conducting research in the omicrons. However, under a new division, lead by the two brothers. The LSF supplied them with a fleet and anything else they might need, to continue their research. This time they will be more prepared for what is to come.

Currently, the PRD are in Liberty, recruiting new pilots and scientist, preparing their next steps of research in the Omicrons.

[Goals]

To understand the nomad gear better and adapt it even more useful and effectively for the team to use aganist the unkowns and Nomads more effectively while in battle.

To Set libertly Free from the curse the housing till housed with.

To Aid and protect Liberty from Criminals and still keeping Criminal Records at bay.

To discover more technology that can be found useful in the PRD.

[Commanding Order]

Commanding Directors:

The Commanding Directors are the top of the Phoenix Research Division they give orders to the Scientists and to the Fighters. The main Job of them is to organize the whole Division and equip its personal with the right equipment for fights as well as for scientifice researchs. They also try to forge new bonds with different Factions. All Missions and actions needs to be approved by them. They are the only one that are allowed to fly Dreadnoughts or any bigger ships.

Assault Battlecruiser / Cruiser Commander:

PRD battlecruiser pilots are the members of the High Command. They are the ones that control the PRD Units in battle. They are usually the ones calling the shots and giving command in the battlefield. Their crews and the pilots themselves are the most skilled and can take on a vessel of any type. Ships like that are mostly used in heavy fights and are noticed only when there is something important going on. Their ships are big and heavy but they are still able to dodge fast projectiles and eliminate every enemy on the battlefield. This vessels are usually the ones responsible for the PRD’s Victories.

Professors:

The Professors are the known people in PRD who develope new advanced attack and defence systems for the PRD Fleet. Their main job is to simply cover all the needs for the Pilots out there with every little piece of equipment that is needed this goes from normal weapons like the Magma Hammer over to Champion Class shields. They have the same privilegs like a Cruiser Commander but they are not really active in combat as long as its not needed.

Repair Bot Engineers:

The Repair Bot Engineers are a schooled elite in the handling of a repair ship. Those specific trained and schooled engineers needs to make there degree within the PRD or needs to have a evidence that they are accepted as such. In PRD there are Two types the Repair Bot Engineers which are the normal once and as such only can command once Repair ship or the Repair Bot Engineers to who can take controll over a normal Repair Ship in a Battle for better coordination.

Gunboat Captain:

A PRD gunboat pilot is a highly skilled professional that is trained to fly a gunboat classed vessel. They are trained well enough to eliminate a heavy classed cruiser all by themselves. A PRD Gunboat Captain is able to eliminate and defend himself against up to 3 Enemy bombers. If you spot a PRD gunboat, the best thing you can do to survive is run.

Scientists:

The Scientists are directly under the Professors they assist them with all their knowlegde and try to find new methodes to simplyfy known production ways. Their main job is to help the Professors and if needed go out in space and try to search for new technology that the Professors can use to adapte them for the PRD ships.

Snub Pilot (Bomber):

A PRD Bomber pilot is trained in fights taking place in the roughest conditions. A pilot that flies a PRD Bomber is skilled enough to destroy a vessel of any size. A PRD Pilot that files a Bomber Class vessel is also specifically trained to win One on One fights against any snub. Vessels like this are small but pack a punch like no other ship.

Snub Pilot:

An ordinary PRD snub pilot is trained using a advanced military fighting simulation. A Snub pilot is trained to protect any bigger PRD ships from smaller enemy vessels. PRD snub pilots are also skilled enough to take down an enemy bomber within seconds. An Ordinary PRD snub pilot is offered a large variety of different vessels to fly, from Light Fighters to Very Heavy Fighters. PRD Snub Pilot is Fast, Small but deadly.
