ᛝ Who am I?:

Some will say that I'm a psychopath, others will say that I'm quite a charming person, honestly it depends on who you are, what you do and how you're affecting me and people that I care about. I am not trying to intimidate you, what I want is to explain how I got here and what my plans are.

The Östberg family was not a known family in Rheinland. My mother and father were not very rich, they were hard working citizens of Planet Hamburg. Everything they built came from their honest work. I - Njáll Östberg was born on Planet Hamburg 44 years ago. I recall being a happy child, satisfied with what I had and never really asked for much as I knew what my parents were and what they could afford.

Just a few years after the Nomad War, my father, that was promoted to a higher rank in his company, openly accused High ranking members of his company for being corrupted as well as neglecting their workers and their hard and honest jobs.

Now this might seem irrelevant, but trust me, it's quite relevant as it resulted in my father losing his job and soon after his life. Losing a job affected him and our family in a very bad way. He didn't talk much about it, not with me nor my mother. To make it shorter, both of them were assassinated, why not me as well? Pure luck.

'' ... you can't expect people like him to keep his mouth shut. He had to be removed, he could've exposed the whole company. It was nothing personal. '' Those were one of the last words from a man responsible for the death of my parents, along with loud screams. Actually he confessed that as soon as I pointed the gun at his wife at their dinner table. The screams came after I split open her gut and served him her eyes. At first he didn't want to eat the eyes so I was forced to make him eat them by shooting at his knees. Pain can do so many things, unlike words. I eventually did put him out of his misery, after made him transfer his money to my untraceable bank account that is. I then left a note for the Police, saying: I DESERVED THIS. I placed the note on his forehead, I can't say I remember where his head was, it was either on the table or on his lap.

Justice was served, in my way. The feeling was absolutely ecstatic, I felt alive. Hamburg though, was no longer safe for me, or at least I felt like it wasn't. With all the money I had in my possession, I could've gone anywhere, but I decided to lay low in the Omegas. No one knew who I was, which was exactly what I wanted. Affiliated as a Freelancer in Omegas was a perfect cover, but after a while I've felt empty.

My family was destroyed. I destroyed those who destroyed my family, but why would I stop there? I thought, I can make things different and so I did. I have formed a group called AESIR, we were small, but our small scale group was often underestimated, resulting in destruction of those who underestimated us and our capabilities. Pirating Rheinland Corps. was our sport, laughable interactions, but killing was something most of us craved for. Slowly but surely we grew bigger, we have had enough people to make the situation in Rheinland a lot different.

We made a difference. Under my command, AESIR vessels assisted the Hessen Armie in Stuttgart, I am referring to the siege of the Solitaire Metropolis. That wasn't the only time, AESIR also took part in the siege of the Kruger base in Omega-7 system - The Reutlingen siege. Our fighter vessels disrupted the Rheinland Military backup in Stuttgart which greatly affected the defense of the base. Our most valuable ship - Battleship AE~Vali was heavily damaged and soon after the siege moved to Wolfsburg shipyard where it still awaits repairs. It was a crushing defeat for Rheinland and it's beloved corporation.

AESIR tried different approach after the Reutlingen was destroyed. The support for the Hessen was already there as AESIR shared the same goals as the Armie. To wage war with Rheinland doesn't come cheap. Both my members and I knew that. Piracy was not as profitable as some other things were, such as Diamonds. AESIR quickly started exporting red tinted diamonds know as Blood Diamonds. They held a great value mostly because of their color, but also for being illegal in Rheinland.

Now, since we have the same goals as the Hessen Armie, I believe it's only logical to join you. I've seen how Miss Heinrich handles things which pleases me greatly. If you decide to accept me into your ranks then you can count on my full financial support. The AESIR members will be advised to join the Armie. Every member of AESIR is familiar with both ground and space combat, so you don't have to worry about our capabilities.
