Applicant Biography: This story starts with two young brothers who were born and raised in Malta. One of these brothers is called Jack Berkley. They both come out of a poor family and got the chance to go to school and start an engineering training. After a couple of years, they both passed their tests and got a job on a big outcast battleship. They were both stationed together in an engineering squad of four people in total. Almost immediately they the four of them got close friends and started their work on the right back engine because they were responsible for it. Jack got the nickname ‘Lion’ because he is the leader of the group and sometimes aggressive too his team if they don’t listen to him or don’t cooperate.
We fast forward too day 136 on duty. It’s in the middle of the night and Jack is woken by the loud noise of an energy gun being shot. When Jack looks through his window he sees ' a being ' that certainly is not human. Soon after the alarm goes off for Battle stations. Jack and his team go immediately to their station at the engine. On arrival the ship takes a serious hit and the engines go offline. Jack and his team try to repair the engine. When they are almost done the alarm goes off because they have to abandon ship. They start to run like crazy in the direction of the escape pods. When they are close to the pods they take another hit and the ship starts to crack open. One member of the team get suck into space instantly and dies immediately. Jack is finally at their pod together with his brother, they both reach out their hand to Marcus their fellow engineer. Marcus tries to jump too them, but he can’t reach them and gets sucked into space as well. Jack then pushes the eject button and they are shot into space at a high speed. As they are being catapulted away they look through the window and see ‘the being’ fire a last time to finish off the ship. The salvo is aimed at the bridge and almost instantly after hitting it the whole ship detonates and kills almost all the crew in it that remained. Jack isn’t interested in that explosion but keeps on staring at ‘the being’. Soon after his brother joins in and does it as well and they both come to the conclusion that they want to harvest all the wisdom and knowledge from it. An hour and a half the first transport ship arrive at the scene and picks up all the remaining survivors from there pods. They get dropped off at Malta, so they can get questioned by the authorities. In their hearing they both explain their love for ‘the being’ and say that they want to communicate with is and befriend it. The authorities don’t want to hear it, and both declare them crazy because of the PTSD they have according to them. Jack and his brother manage to escape the police station before they get placed into jail. After this accident they both steal a ship and run away from Malta before they got caught. Now they wander across the galaxy in their ships and do anything to get money. But still their biggest desire is to get in contact with ‘the being’ and harvest their power and wisdom so they can dominate their enemy and get revenge on the authorities that didn’t believe them.
Reasons for applying: Him and his close friend want to join because this is there only way to get in touch with ‘the being’/nomads. They want to dominate they galaxy with coordinated attacks with the wisdom and power they harvest out of nomads together with this group of people.
Notable skills: Always stays by his brothers in arms side and will never betray them. Jack also never gives up even when things aren’t looking favourable for him. At last Jack will never stop pushing to reach ultimate power together with ‘the commune’ so they conquer the whole galaxy and reach the highest ranks within Sirius.
