As of thirty minutes ago, upon my authorisation, Marshall Station was struck by two Nuclear Electromagnetic Pulse warheads fired by the SLF Kaiserin Leicht and her escorts, at the edge of the Hamburg gate debris field. striking the station amidships, damage reports are only speculative, however, the Seperatist's drydock facilities, ordinance storage, strike craft sortie bays, and granaries, appear to be completely irreparable. What is certain is that the enemy's warfighting capabilities have been greatly diminished. The men, women, and children of Pacifica need fear no longer of Separatist assault. Of Separatist boots within the corridors of their home.


Know that what we have done today is a sickness within the soul. But a body must produce antibodies if it is to survive the wider disease. It is an inoculation.

My administration was appointed to restore peace to the belt. Today we take our first steps towards a peace that is free of foreign influence. An emancipation from the ties that bind us, by force, and not will.

I have ordered an hour’s respite from warfighting activites across the Belt, in commemoration of the Unioners, and yes, of the Separatists, who have died, are dying, or will die, before this conflict has worn its last upon us.


I ask that you would join me in Remembrance. In solidarity, with our fallen brothers, aboard both Marshal, and Pacifica. The Twenty First of September, Seventeen hundred hours, Hamburg mean time. Forty three minutes and thirty two seconds. Mark the time, and know the cost of peace.
