Picaroon Diablo...

Odd name, meaning Pirate Devil. But this was the name given to me by my adoptive parents.
I know not of my birth parents, My father was killed in an attack on an Oucast
station. My mother died giving birth to me in an escape pod near Malta. I was discovered, rescued & raised by the nephew of a Maltese Cardamine Don & his wife. My new father instilled in me the truths and values of being an Outcast. The Honor and the history of the Maltese people & I to this day believe in them. I have spent most of my life thus far doing various jobs for various Maltese factions including smuggling, plundering & defense of transports.
Through these tasks, I purchased my first ship, a small transport to haul Cardamine & other various commodities to build wealth in hopes of someday becoming a Don my self. These dreams were destroyed during an unprovoked attack upon my ship by Bounty Hunter scum. I at the time was transporting Maltese civilians back to Malta returning from a pilgramage. Unfortuneatly I was the only survivor. It was then I took the last of my credits I had saved & purchased a new model Sabre & named it the Jolly_Roger. Seemed fitting at the time. I then vowed to protect Malta & it's citizens from the Bounty Hunting scum & their likes. Many fights I have fought, some with a reason, some with out. Learning the hard way flying solo as a 1 man crusade was getting me no where, I went back to my roots & my history. I began to pirate & plunder any ship not allied with the Outcasts. Making friends along the way & of course several enemies, I decided to purchase a ship to smuggle goods off Malta & spread the orange dream through out the systems. I acquired enough credits to purchase a slightly used Rouge Transport Freighter & named it the Obnoxious1. Of course I kept my Sabre to help defend Malta & my own causes, but the Obnoxious1 became my income source. Until the formation of the Blue Lotus Syndicate. A corporate type group with the goal of controlling all aspects of the Cardamine trade regardless of the effects to the Maltese people. Mind you, I am all for enterprise & the chance to make some credits, It's just the BLS lacks style. They took the old style Dons, Respected & honorable & turned it in to some shameless corporation type thing. Buying up what they can, taking what they cant buy & never giving back to the Maltese. Or just giving enough to the 66th, 101st & ROS to keep them quiet & preventing a government take over of the fields.
It was about this time I met a man in a bar on Malta, Grimtooth was his call sign, Im not sure if he even has a real name. After several shots of Rum we began discussing the state of Malta & her future. Be both agreed something must be done, So we decided to seek out fellow Maltese sharing our old world views. Thus forming our own squad. Even allowing my only son to join our fight. We remain loyal to Malta & her defense, her history & her future. All though we are not in any type of conflict with the BLS, We don't honor or condone their practices & hope one day the 101'st, 66th & ROS become brave enough to over throw them. For now we will assist the afore mentioned & work from the shadows to see our cause fufilled.
