Roleplaying Liberty Research and Developement

As a suggestion from one of the Higher ups in Liberty Player command I have posted a topic here before officially starting it. Also it will outline my initial plans which will become more solid as I talk to the Dev team and such as its essentially based on their future plans somewhat with ship directions.

My goal is to Roleplay part of the R&D department of the Liberty House. Particularly, the ships and weapons aspects(ie the release of the new bomber at the next update. giving it a little bit of a story.) I would like to state that suggestions and tips from the More experienced RP writers would be nice so as to write smooth expansive pieces for each thing I RP.

Current goal is to start the character out on the planet Manhattan on a simple non important Research project and go from there.

Basically asking if people will be ok with this. If not please state your reasoning, as simply saying no doesn't help me in the least bit.
