I see where you're coming from, Werdi, and it's honestly a good point. However, it was worded like that specifically so that only ships that are outlined as hostile may be attacked by ships with our ID. Seeing as the faction takes a more defensive approach to the traditional 'enemies' of the Order, most factions that would be on our hostiles list are not, and in most cases, the line will very rarely even apply, given that the ratio of Wild/Nomad transports is about 0-to-1.
We also like the flexibility it offers, so that way we simply require to change a forum post instead of having the Admins sit for months on an ID change that would allow us to shoot .1% more ships.
Again, I see what you mean, but this, in our opinion, is a more efficient way to treat transports, which we likely won't be shooting anyway. It's a clean, if a little confusing, was of coving all our bases.
