Unpopular opinion, but PoBs should be SRPs that are indestructible and can only be placed in systems where your faction/character has a good foothold or has roleplayed with the powers that be for permission. This way, you have people checking for reasonable positions (no OC pob in majority Corsair controlled space etc.). PoBs are great if they are used in events not as lynchpin but maybe as additional docking points or to make the ingame environment feel more dynamic. However, everything else regarding it has and will always be negative.

I like the idea of the event, though. It is dynamic and you can't deny that people did log for it.
