Say what? It makes perfect sense to use a repair ship in battle. Reason why they're not often used in battle because:
a) Not many people RP a repair ship for hire.
b) Repair ships are the first one to die (yes, usually even before caps)
c) They're generally shared by a faction, and said faction usually won't sacrifice any of their players to man a repair ship.
