"I'm confident our negotiations with the SCRA will be successful. Our interests in the Omegas align to some extend, moreso if Rheinland starts intensifying their relations with Gallia more publicly."
He said while sweeping through some of the files.
"With Rheinland engaged in a complicated conflict in the Sigmas the chance of them openly siding with Gallia in the war are rather low while their increased relations will probably make our negotiations with the Hessians and in turn the SCRA easier. Only time will tell, but I think they might open up opportunities for us going down this road.
The Hessians taking over Dresden should not be our concern though, they effectively controlled the bigger part of it anyways, I suppose the complete takeover of it will increase their pressure on Rheinland wich again makes a direct involvement of theirs on the Gallic more unlikely."
He put the PDA aside.
"My main concern is wether we can find a way to take over the planet without much blood shed, Massacres at the Zoner population are to be evaded at all cost. We will certainly try to convince them to give up the planet for some kind of reparations. Should this fail I'm afraid our orders are clear but until we have no other option we should not start this operation with sheding civilian blood. For the first step your task will be to secure the space around Gran Canaria and between izt and the jumphole connection. Any violence against our forces from any party needs to be reported to the Admiralty immediately, be it known enemies or new ones."
He stood up and walked over to a cabinet, taking a bottle of Gin along with two glasses out. Back at the table he placed one in front of Kaze and filled it one third before sitting back down and filling his own glass.
