The event was a draw. This is not something we planned for as the possibility did not originally exist. The reason for this is that Bretonia won, but I roleplayed one of the cruisers being disabled to make up for the miserable first wave. This turned out to be a mistake as we later elected not to count the first wave of the fight.
With the first wave out of the picture, the results looked like this:
Wave 2: 1 survivor, 2 lost (one intentionally)
Wave 3: 1 survivor, 2 lost
Wave 4: 3 survivors, 1 lost.
Essentially, it would have handed the victory to Gallia if we hadn't included the fourth cruiser, due entirely to a dev mistake, which I take full accountability for.
HOWEVER.
If we assume the intentional dead cruiser to be retconned, and provide only 3 cruisers in the final wave, this is what we get:
Wave 2: 2 survivors, 1 lost
Wave 3: 1 survivor, 2 lost
Wave 4: 2 survivors, 1 lost.
All else aside, that is still a win for Bretonia. I think everyone on the Gallic side should be counting their lucky stars that there were 4 LSCs instead of a retcon on my stupid suicide.
As stated previously, we are still discussing the consequences of a draw, as we had originally planned for an odd number of ships (9, 3 per wave). The only thing I can assure anyone of at this time is that this result will NOT result in story stagnation, and that everyone did have an impact on the progression of the war.
