If Gallia had won the encounter or got a draw, the Allies side will be upset that mistakes were made and ended up with that. If the Allies win, then the Gallic players will feel like this is straight up one-sided and impossible to contest against anyway (let's be fair here, even if GRN did have more accurate DPS and no issues with tracking, they still wouldn't get all the ships I imagine).
Either you're part of the #DeleteGallia bandwagon or the Gallic one, I think it's worth reminding that this is a game and you're meant to have fun in events. There's no reason to start spewing vitriol for a mistake that the person responsible had acknowledged. Besides the flop of the first wave, I had quite a lot of fun with the fireworks and from what I hear the ally side did, too.
Things will probably be lost on both sides, it's immature to take that personally. While I'm absolutely certain that the events team/devs will take the things they've learned on board and improve the next events, the players need to see it differently too.
Besides, when was the last time you had an opportunity to affect the outcome of the official storyline?
