I'd rather provide the people responsible for organizing this event that even in a video game (one that we tend to market as 'realistic' and 'player driven') that mistakes are made, and that they should strive to do better than sit back and watch them fumble around like idiots. The very fact that he admitted it is admirable, but it doesn't take away the 'draw' we're presented with.
The last time we had this kind of power was over two years ago with Royal Flush and the Oubli, so I'll admit they're at least thinking in the right direction. Events like these are welcome, but from what I've seen (again, from the sidelines) it could have been orchestrated better.
