SHFs are just a tool for people who used snacs to insta kill VHFs, only now they can do it with even more forgiveness if they miss a dual MR, and they can spam it more often.

It's another thing to rule out the relevance of getting good in VHFs for duels when you can just be that guy and roll up to a fight with a dual MR SHF stacked with normal guns so the only way you'll be killed is if the enemy stacks 5+ people on you.

But of course if you shoot any ship with 5+ people, it's "ganking" and is unhealthy for the server.
