Citizens, people:

Some of you might have herd of me, but I'm certain the majority of you are wondering who this is on a public broadcast. I am Annabelle Heinrich, the Generalmajor, and leader of the Volksrevolution. Many of our supporters live on this peaceful planet, the Volksrevolution has respected the peace and safe haven that is - Gran Canaria. This place is a beacon of equality, a light in the darkness of the edge worlds.

It has come to my attention that now that peace is threatened, that you -all of whom deserve to be treated as equals- are being forced to live under a system that will forcefully discriminate and flush you into social statuses to which you do not belong. I, and my followers have fought for a lifetime to support those under oppression of "powers" who claim to be above them - above people like you. The Bretonians are desperate, they see you as their lessers, as pawns to be moved for the sake of their betterment as a house. I have seen what the desperation of the so called "authorities" amounts to, that is death, and war for those who do not deserve it. You do not deserve it.

I come to you as an equal, as another resident of Gran Canaria - which I am. In the unfortunate event there is a conflict, in the unfortunate event you are put at risk, I offer each of you residence among the populous of the Volksrevolution. I also offer refuge for those who wish to live independently, the Volksrevolution has facilities in the neighboring systems and at its now liberated core, we can, and will provide passage and refuge for all who seek shelter from this conflict. And should the conflict come to a close - you will each be granted passage home. Living among us, a group with enemies may be frightful, but I can assure you that you will all be treated as equals, none of you will be held above another, none of you will be held below another - you will all be given the safety and security you deserve.

The Volksrevolution has not, and will not violate the neutrality laws that encompass Omega-49, we will move no warships, we will not bring weapons of war - but instead transportation for all who seek refuge from this conflict in most unfortunate event it de-escalates to such a state. Transportation will arrive within the Omega-49 system shortly, information and direction for those of you who seek our hospitality will be made public within the week - though we hope it may never come to such a scenario where you need our hospitality.

Rest assured as I live among you, I and the Volksrevolution endorse the independence and freedom of all who live on Gran Canaria.
