Report Start. Geschwader began its operational patrols in vicinity of Mainz station; I made contact with Fl. Erik Heindrich, already conducting transit patrols in the area. He informed me that he had already stopped and clear one transport prior to my arrival. Around this time, RNC Maus-2 arrived on scene. Upon arrival of freelancer transport Brave New World, Fl. Heindrich initiated a transit stop of the ship. Although cleared by Heindrich by way of cargo inspection, I interceded when questioning of the ship's captain revealed that their cargo originated at Planet Harris. In accordance with legal code §2.2.4.6, I therefore initated further scans and questioned the captain. Despite his protestations that he and his crew had made no contact with anyone planetside, and all cargo was loaded automatically - during the course of my interrogation he began to demonstrate erratic behaviour, consistent with Planet Harris Syndrome.
In accordance with legal codes §2.2.4.6, §2.2.4.10, and §2.2.4.5, I ordered the captain of the Brave New World to pay a mandatory fine of 250,000 SC to ensure compliance, issued a transit-ban, and ordered them escorted from Rheinland space. As the captain indicated his home was in the Omegas, we formed a convoy comprised of RNC-Maus-2, Flieger Heindrich's bomber and my own Wraith. Convoy proceeded en-route toward Freeport 1, via New Berlin, Stuttgart and Omega 7. During the course of the journey, the captain behaviour became increasingly erratic - at this stage it appeared he was beginning succumb to the condition. His communications became increasingly confused; nonetheless, he remained compliant with our instructions throughout.
By the time of our arrival at Freeport 1, the Captain's condition was grave - both his communication and behaviour was erratic. It having become apparent that he was suffering the effects of Planet Harris syndrome, a crewman identifying himself as the Brave New World's second helmsman, Mr. Parker, contacted us. It became necessary for us to instruct Mr. Parker to restrain his captain, which he was able to do, presumably with the help of remaining unaffected crew. I then directed Mr. Parker to contact Freeport 1, and proceed under quarantine to seek medical assistance there immediately. I further informed him as to our laws, and the travel ban they would be subject to until able to prove with documentation that they were free of the syndrome.
Upon Mr. Parker's compliance, our Rheinwehr convoy returned to Rheinland. RNC Maus detached en-route, while Flieger Heindrich and myself returned to base at Mainz.
**Fahndung** Brave.New.World (Transport), and all crew;
Rheinland Travel-ban in accordance with legal code §2.2.4.6, in regards to Planet Harris Syndrome.
