Why do you want to join Republican ShippingSince Uwe was young, his family have been Republican 'company men'. Although his great-great grandfather founded a small independent trading company, Richter Shipping, which found some small success - it was never able to compete. Despite fierce resistance from the family, Uwe's Grandfather eventually sold the company to Republican Shipping. Ever since, the men and women of the family have almost all worked for Republican. Uwe was no exception, being educated as a navigator he entered the company at 18, as has been with them ever since.
