Yeah it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Old mate seemed really offended because I was "lying to him" about the event, apparently. No biggie. I don't mind being pirated occasionally. Hell I've had some really good interactions with some pirates on occasion. So yeah I went back to my usual haunts rather than antagonise the guy any further. One of the 'good' things about being on the wrong side of the planet from the server is that there are usually fewer players on when I am so I have less people to offend. The lag is a pain though lol.
