it has been 2 days since red returned to the Nest … a very empty Nest!! Red spent this days walking around of what he once called home, sleeping on his old room that he once shared with his beloved Sara … at least she and the rest of the birds are safe!! Red receives a message “They arrived!” They is Falcon Group and some guests! Red welcomes of what remains of Falcon Group that now joins the remains Groups, and go talk to the guests that arrived with Falcon Group, they are few but is not what is important … they are Corsairs, and their leader is Hernán Cortés, former Colonel of the Corsair Army that over 6 years ago invaded Gran Canaria, an forgotten war but it still was a bloody war for both sides. Red now is face to face to the man that commanded a unit that was responsible for the death of hundreds of Zoners, and Cortés is facing the man that was responsible for the death, among others, of two of his officers that also were they were their only sons!! Both man nod to each other, and Red invite Cortés to talk in the garden, away from the rest:

Red: I knew you stayed here! I wasn’t expecting but somehow I understand!

Cortés: Si!! Despite of all that happened, I still love Gran Canaria. This was dream for our people, the same for your people. Too bad we couldn’t share it from the beginning!

Red: Yes!! Too bad! How are your people now?!

Cortés: Not worst that yours!! This Bretonians … we always knew that are scum … but I never suspected they would do it, at least this way!

Red: We were expecting the Gauls … and not someone that we once helped!

Cortés: We never know who we invite to our house!! By the way, you had a good house here … out of sight … now covered with snow … you are planning to use it has a war base?

Red: My people are safe! And home it is where our love ones are. And yes this will be our headquarter. Like you said it is out of sight, and we can plan the attacks here, as also rest or treat or injuries! We are few … we can’t face then head to head, so we must be … creative!!

Cortés: I perfectly understand! You also were very creative 6 years ago, and that worked fine, but now is different! Are you really hoping to win this war? Expel Bretonia form Gran Canaria?

Red: (stops for a bit, looks in the eyes of Cortés) No!!

Cortés: So why are you doing this?

Red: To say enough! We are tired to suffer!! We will make Bretonia suffer every day, like they are doing to us now! If we give up … how our children will remember us?!

Cortés nods to Red and smiles!

Cortés: Si amigo!! You would make a fine Corsair officer, and would be an honor to serve with you:

Both man shake their hands, the past is past, and now the future is what it matters! Red gives the location of several depots spread Gran Canaria that Cortés and his people can use, and discuss tactics! War made then enemies and now made then friends … friends for a cause … more than a planet … the cause of freedom!!
