I have to say, despite RP. My faction the Harvesters has been denied Zoner guns, BHG gunship, Liberty Assault Battle Criuser, Zoner destroyer. I have been asked to eliminate salvaged weapons from our possible weapons. I have asked to limit our selves to Junker and Corsair ships and weapons.

Now on a PVP note. Corsair gear is good. The ships we were forced into are better than the ones we had. PVP is now easier with them.

However, our faction was designed to resemble what we "eat". Each ship being different based on "it's" personal encounters. I even thought early on before anyone else was doing it and no one knew me, that maybe I would design a character that it cross to bare would be it could only use ENEMY gear.

The point is if we can be denied ZONER TURRETS, which are pretty much considered universal cap guns, since everyone who can get them is friends with the Zoners or at least not enemies.

And even with our RP of Zoner ORIGINS and RP of our tendency to copy our foes by reproduceing what we've eaten.

We have been denied.

It seems that in many cases I've encounted that RP has little to do with wether or not you get to use something. Publicly RPing for rewards in looked down upon. Its a game of the next level we are here for semi easy rewards (enterainment). But even though this is a game of the next level so to speak at no level should a game be designed to make it far more work than play.

In short I think DOCUMENTED RP should allow nearly everything. If someone has documented RP that looks thought out. I say now I dont care how shouted down they are on the forums I respect and will recognize thier work as soon as it draws my attention.

Anyway in short. Civilian stuff=FREE FOR ALL= SUPER COMMON= my GRANDMA HAS ONE

Bugged ships and gear is a valid reason to have a OORP ship as far as im conserned. Who wants to logg on and watch themselves and other have less fun with thier bugged ships.
