Good day dear freelancers and all affiliated pilots.
Some of you had an opportunity more than 7 years ago to see us flying amongst you.
Our expedition here joined at that time the ranks of Bretonia's Navy.
I would like to think that we helped some people at least as much as I know we have upset some of you.
That expedition slowly disbanded and we lost track of them... It was a time of trouble.
We can only hope that our brave Marauders, mercenaries at heart were slowly absorbed by more lucrative projects.
I would hate to think that their cold corpses are filing any of the debris fields.

The remnant of Marauders are dusting-off their ships and are once more airborne.
You will see us bearing Freelancer IFF's and ID's and displaying prowdly as ever the =(\/)= insignia.
We are not seeking to establish ourselves as an official actor in this huge play... at least, not now.
We just want you to know who we are when you see us.
Maybe say hello and share a pint of ale now and then if you find us in your path.

We're once again in a modest space suit, but hanging tight to be better.
We are old and experienced. The gray in our beards could be just as well... star dust.

We wish you well and will see you in space.
