Psionics is discovery cannon.

There was no specific faction that goes into it particularly so it became flavour text for this group.

Potentially even vanilla canon if we take Jonner and Blix, but because we know nothing about them and what was up with them, I wouldn't be so rash as to claim this part of lore, especially when there's no explanations about them, not sensible ones at least.

Not to mention that it just looks... I don't know, disconnected. Like ok, they're Aussies and Kiwis... and they're psionics? It's a non sequitur, if you catch my drift.

It was figured out along the lines that Bretonia would have been the least infection-shy house during its post nomad war years. The idea is that there's more oddballs in Bretonia than in other houses for this reason.
