Right, so Gunny went by my Room today and told me that A. I was taking over the Warspite project and B. That I should probably log it, so hi Logbook and whoever reads this (Hi Corin?) Anyway down to business. I've been getting the wiring done, let me tell you I stink right now. Problem with the wiring is that it takes a lot of manpower and any small break in the wires could cause a short-fuse. I'm reminded of a case I read once in University where someone was merely destratifying the hydrogen & oxygen tanks, it caused a spark and half the hull-plating blew off. What caused it? Bad wiring!

So yea, Wiring is very important. I've done most of the important decks, engineering was a bitch. But I've managed to wire up a basic intercom system so I can talk with the shipwright crews. Half the ship is still not done, it's kinda like working in a ghost ship right now. We have the rooms, but nothing in them. Today however we did managed to complete one of the major checkmarks, installing the water tanks and filling them up. Although I have a suspicion that one of the crews might have spiked it with some beer (Gunny?). I also find it funny that we got drinkable water, but we haven't installed plumbing so we got a lot of people in portable toilets.

The crew is kinda still adjusting to me, I've brought out my glasses and tablet to look professional. They didn't trust me at first but I think when I crawled around to find a broken conduit for four hours in the cold dark they grew to like me. Speaking of that, yea the ship is really cold and it's becoming a problem, we've got condescension on some of the control panels and we're worried it might cause a short in them. So next on the list is the AC and heating. AC especially as, just climbing down to the cargo rooms requires a oxygen mask for emergencies. No leaks so far however which honestly in my experience is a plus.

Anyway, I'm going to have a shower, eat some grub then get back to wiring up the middle decks.
