Mr Shepard,

I have done a brief analysis of the offer of Falster Base to Gateway as requested. Below is a brief summary of my findings, the full data has been filed - document FB21.b if needed for review.

Pros:
A core 4 base with little initial cost
Central Omega position
Could support our largest customer and expand with local mining industry
Base would not go into the ownership of our rivals
Possible interception point for rival shipments
BAF likely to keep the Aland area secure in the short term

Cons:
Additional staff required to man the base
Additional maintainence costs and fees
High risk area with many unsavoury characters (Hessians and Corsairs)
If IMG do not have good relations with Bretonia after the battle they may not be able to access the station

Financially, it is dependent upon this final point and how we can lawfully allow local miners to continue to use the station.
