Andrew nodded and extended his hand to a nearby seat, that Blythe quickly took. After a few seconds, collecting his thoughts, his eyes rose, serious and without a hint of what was going through the man's head. Motioning towards a data-pad that was carefully placed in front of the seat, he finally spoke.

"For months, we have access to blueprints of a specialized weapon. Tachyon in origin,"

Blythe opened the data-pad and the first files of the blueprints came to view. Origin, energy readings, materials, damage scalability regarding different inputs, everything needed to build one. A 'Scythe' Edge Worlds Tachyon Cannon. While a known weapon, the knowledge of fabrication was a tight lip secret to the factions that roamed the Omegas and Omicrons.

"We've already deployed some prototypes, but the energy configuration in regards to the power output of our weapon mounts, and ultimately, our ship power grids has been anything but stellar. Your experience with project Hellbound allowed you to have a different standpoint and experience in regards to different technologies and how they interface in the electronic and energy level."

He leaned forward, crossing his hands and looking at Blythe.

"That is why you are here. I've already requested the Admiralty for a leave from active duty for you. If you accept, you will be temporarily placed in the T&G to deal with project 'Harvest'."

Turning around on his chair, he rose and started to walk with the data-pad in his hand and talking, without looking at her, as he was running his thoughts twice before speaking.

"While we have already tachyon based weaponry in our armament lists, the 'Scythe' will reduce the need and ultimately remove the need we have for external weaponry from our allies. Needless to say, its an umbrella for a rainy day. A fallback. An insurance. There is a time limit on this, however. As you know, the war is upon us all, leaving little to no wiggle room or mistakes in this. Are you interested?"
