Just to be clear, there's 3 events running and all 3 events will be rewarded.
1. Most Corsair kills
2. Most Hessian kills
3. Most cargo shipped
NEMP events were never gold mines, the route offers smuggling-grade profit, the kill bonus makes the PVP aspect of the event a bit more lucrative and a chance to win a scidata prize makes it more competitive.
And I'm not sure how tiny your screen is, but it's working just fine for me. I can remove pi either way.
