I really wish it was that black and white. Most people have their own reasons, sometimes it's time constraints, other times it might be they simply don't enjoy it. My main reason was that a lot of my content went unused and that took away a great deal of incentive for me to continue, but having praise from doing things is what I lived for. Go and look at the announcement threads for DSCore or DSLauncherV2; they made me feel good.
