"Ganking" Complaints (OORP)

There is no solution to it. Ganks are a thing since the very beginning of Freelancer Multiplayer. There are people who have spent much time to become very good at PvP. To them, it's pretty unfair that their skill is for other people a justification to gank. Especially if the enemy has been involved in ganks against others as well. People come to feedback threads and complain about ganks, which in itself is alright, given that something happened that could be avoided. But people are not entitled to receive a form of gameplay tailored to their convenience - at least the rules don't enforce that.

Log into the game, expect the worst. You can die, both to fair and unfair fights. If things are running fair, that's good. If things went unfair, that's just life and everyone here has been on both ends of ganks already.

I highly disagree. Good pvp encounters are entirely possible, it just has to be serviced and sourced by people from both sides being mature and working together to ensure things are fun for those invovled. Like I said, there are one offs where things are so chaotic it can go out of hand, but consistently letting ganks happen is both a bad attitude and lazy, or toxic even in some cases.
