While I really don't understand why the people that posted prior to me point fingers at each other instead of actually adding something constructive, here's my "Feedback":
First, I have to go back a bit to when I was new on Discovery. I joined around the time when Wesker got banned. With that in mind, RHA was pretty much dead all over the time of him not being able to contribute anything to the game. That being said, I was mainly playing Rheinland at the time, being Kruger and some Military indies. Funnily enough, the first fight I had with RHA was in New Berlin, when they were attacking some Caps, and I went on my Kruger escort to assist. Being me, a complete noob at snub pvp, I didn't contribute much. But why is that important? Simply because I had a ton of fun in the fight, even if I died and we lost in the end.
When Wesker got unbanned, RHA suddenly jumped to the peak of the activity list and I was very surprised to be pirated for probably the first time ever in Rheinland borders. I asked what RHA was, and I was given answers that up to this day remind me of ooRP hatred that I've rarely faced even until this day - Over a year later. That being said, the asked people probably have not changed their mind regarding RHA even until this day, which to me is sad.
Fast forward to the past few months, I found myself playing against RHA a couple of times. None of the fights were entirely balanced, but that was from both sides. One time we had more people, another time RHA had more people. I still got my share of fun, even though I died every single time in those fights. I understand why people dislike ganking, but I do not understand that it's always RHA that is supposedly the main contributor of that attitude on the server. There's enough factions that do the same, and I doubt that there is a single player who can say that they haven't ganked before. It's just the way Freelancer is, really. Get over it, move on, don't be so mad because of things in the past.
This ooRP grudge that I've mentioned earlier has become all the more apparent to me when I tried to organize a raid of Corsairs into the Omegas - which to my surprise, only two people showed up (One only showing because they felt bad about me and the other person). Honestly, the fight we had wasn't the best, but that was not RHA's fault. Instead, there were other factions present (whom I will not mention here because it would simply stir up more drama than we need) and it ended up in us pretty much being ganked. My team-partners were obviously not satisfied with the result, saying that this was to be expected from RHA, and I think it somewhat is. But that doesn't need to be a bad thing.
Hessians and Coalition in general have a massive playerbase that far outnumbers most other playerbases, with Wesker being able to motivate his folk to log when there's need - an attitude that we really need in Discovery if we want to move onward and continue to have large-scale battles- so while it may be true that fights are unfair or uneven (From either side), at least you can always expect RHA to stand up and come after your ass if they happen to find you in Omega-54,52, or anywhere near their turf. That's a great thing, and I like that.
All of this being said, I first had mixed feelings about RHA when I joined first, but the longer I staid on the server the more I got to accept the playstyle of RHA and it's members, who tend to eat you up and leave nothing behind in a fight. With me leading Custodi now, having an active faction that I can raid pretty much at any given time and expect a solid (if not overwhelming) defense is a great thing, and something that more people should use to the advantage of their faction members or friends. After all, there's not so much to do in Discovery besides role-playing and PvP, and RHA can offer you both at most times.
