Meeting Irma would provide a good deal of insight into the nature of the people he was dealing with. She was no longer just some grunt now, she'd elevated herself into a position of relative importance. The fact that she was attractive from the right angles and pleasant to talk to, despite the ego, certainly made the process easier to stomach. "Casual murder and then dinner?"

One of those statements was a joke and the other was a real proposition. It was perhaps a little difficult to tell which one he was seriously suggesting.
