BBC News: Senior [SIS] Official Assassinated

On 13th April, 826 A.S., Adrienne Perry was assassinated by a rogue LSF Officer named Mattis Hoegenakker. The reason why is as of yet, undetermined. Cpt. John Mellark and Sherry Aguilar of the Apahanta had both witnessed; and testified; to the assassination.

Adrienne Perry was tractored in by the crew of the BRF|-HMS-Westminster under the orders of Cpt. Mellark while the Apahanta continued to follow the assailant. Unfortunately, she passed away on the operating table. Her position as the Second in Command of the [SIS] was taken over by Lady Sarah Mountbatten (the details of which are in the BBC News report linked above).

Approximately one month later, Adrienne Perry resurfaced once again in a comm to the current director of the =LSF=, Christopher Murray [LINK].

She reveals that she had been in a deep undercover operation initiated by the =LSF= when she returned after completing her Ph.D. in 824 A.S.

Her mission was to infiltrate the Bretonian state help build an allied intelligence agency; the Secret Intelligence Service; to assist the =LSF= in the war against Gallia. This was done WITHOUT the Bretonian state knowing she was an undercover double agent of the =LSF=. Part of her mission was also to maintain Liberty's interest's within the [SIS] in secret. Around this time, the Steiner family was gaining prominence in Bretonia and they were known for their biased anti-Libertonian stance.

Through her efforts, she had worked her way up to the second in command position of the [SIS]. Although she was meant to remain within Bretonia as a clandestine infiltrator, she faked her own death (as shown in the BBC News report). The [SIS] had become increasingly bureaucratised and centralised and its counter-intelligence capabilities had strengthened significantly since its inception. As a result, Perry calculated that the risk of discovery was too high, and decided to fake her own death to escape. Her family has since moved back to Liberty from Bretonia. Aside from her husband and her family (who are under the Federal Witness Protection Program of the Republic of Liberty, only the =LSF='s current director Christopher Murray and the former director of the =LSF= when she first joined; David Copperfield; and a handful of =LSF= agents on Planet Curacao are aware that she is still alive.

She is currently on Planet Curacao, rendezvousing with David Copperfield for debriefing. Although he is retired, as the ex-director of the =LSF= he has plenty of resources that he has been deploying clandestinely to fight Gallia. Adrienne Perry is a part of his intelligence network and continues to be so. She has opted to remain an independent non-state actor as opposed to rejoining the =LSF= as she wants her identity and her current status to remain a hidden secret.
