At the bar of Freeport 11, I overheard an intoxicated group discussing alien relics and an abandoned city full of them. Naturlich this piqued my interest, wanting to keep my association with this bunch at a minimum, I left the freeport and found ein schiff (APT-Osaka|Aoi) just outside that knew of the city and was willing to help.
We flew together through Omicron Chi (nothing more than rocks and gas) and Xi, before arriving at a gas planet inside a nebula, which had two large asteroids, like a gate, on one side. On closer inspection these asteroids had large guns attached to them, but were either inactive or were not worried about our presence.
The atmosphere was thinner at this point, and my guide proceeded before me. The sight was nicht what I expected, the city was not on the ground (and being a gas giant... there was no ground for it to be on) but floating in the atmosphere.

The city itself was without power and seemingly sealed off, I could find no way to gain entry. It looks like it was abandoned in a hurry, and my guide was also not sure, or not willing to tell, of what happened here. Surrounding it is debris from the structure, some of which has unusual nomad carvings or shapes.
My guide and I parted ways, and I continued my exploration. A zoner ship - Jixon, entered the area and started collecting the debris. I demanded that he drop whatever he had taken and depart, and he was surprisingly compliant -there may be hope for his salvation.
