We clearly would not mind you shooting the cruiser if you were all engaged, and the cruiser approached with hostile intent (Dropping engagement lines, attacking). But that was not the case. There was several of you, one of them. You even admit that one of your ships was duelling it, which means the others were watching. And you had no time to write 2 lines each while sitting aside and watching? The cruiser approached, didn't even have time to RP. You dropped one line and attacked as soon he came into range. We definitely expect more than that.
