That aside,
First off, some pirates don't like you in the first place. If Sousuke had a choice, then he wouldn't even ask for money, he would say "Time to pay the price, gaijin" and destroy you after teasing you a bit, maybe scaring you into thinking you could save yourself by giving him money or possessions, but killing you in the end. I'm sure it's the same way for several other types of pirates as well, but the rules restrict this because it would be abused, and I would probably get a lot of flak for it (I get a lot of flak for my RP now), so I can't roleplay like this.
Seondly I have never seen "2 million or die" EVER on this server. I haven't seen half of the things people complain about. From my time here, it's a gross exaggeration.
Ryoken, how exactly does being grouped with a cap break the rules? There is nothing there that says that being grouped with a cap breaks the rules if they aren't taking part in the pirating. If there was an Osiris 10k away from a pirating grouped with a Titan, is he involved in the pirating? No, he's just sitting 10k away. It could be argued that he's intimidating the target, but he's really not, he's just sitting 10k away. How exactly is a trader supposed to know about whether or not a cap is with a certain pirate? I don't think he does.
And you refuse to roleplay with pirates in fighters? You say nothing? Just shoot? That's not really right. Roleplay should be given to everyone, not just the elite Roleplayers here. I could just say "2 million or die" to all the diamond-niobium traders that I know aren't going to Roleplay back, but instead I at least give them an opportunity. That just isn't right....
Although, I agree with you on your last point. That just seems silly. If anything you should pirate him!
I agree with this completely. Why should I care if you carry something or not? You're here, and I want money. Give me some money or give me your life, end of story. If I wanted your input on the situation I would've asked you for it, and that includes whether or not you're making money.
And I'm sigging that last line. That was great....
Thank you for this, I agree wholeheartedly. As I said before, in my experience, most things here are just a gross exaggeration. Thank you again, Hyung, I believe (with whatever my word is worth) that you're right...
