The issue in Bering is not a RP one, it simply brought the problem to our attention.

Because you say it isn't, or do you truly believe the BAF/LN 90% tech cell existing for literal years was an oopsie?

I'm saying what I've been told by long standing members of BAF. The cell was carried over when Indie and Official IDs were split. Thus far, Indies who use our caps, and Indies who use LN caps as BAF, have been told not to.

We tried to tell the OP not to, not without more RP than a single post and zero contact with BAF prior to making it. He ignored us, and raised our attention (re: Bering), and we decided to correct the age old error by requesting staff give it attention.

It's in their hands now. And no, I and Steiner are not voting.
