Suspect: Konteradmiral Claus Auttenberg
After I received an emergency call in Thuringia, I was dispatched to the scene in a Fafnir. The conversation was heated however I managed to cool it down and find out what happened. ●
Apparently Konteradmiral Claus Auttenberg attempted to disrupt the lawful decommission of the two installations by ordering an attack on the RNC Bismarck which was carrying out its legal duty. This unlawful order led to a skirmish between RNC, BDM and [RM] ships. [RM]Dornier-05, piloted by Konteradmiral Claus Auttenberg, was successfully destroyed as well as a [RM] gunboat while the others retreated to Thuringia. No losses were reported on the lawful side.
With the invaluable assistance of Konteradmiral Gerhard Wolf, we talked to one of the [RM] survivors, Kaptain Alexander von Harrisburg, commander of [RM]RWK-Rosenheim who admitted to breaking the law and named Konteradmiral Claus Auttenberg as the one who issued the orders. I decided to not press the matter due to the mitigating factor that the Kaptain was obeying his superior's orders.
Our efforts should focus on finding whether Auttenberg is still alive. I am in contact with Konteradmiral Wolf in an effort to solve this matter internally considering the sensitivity of the situation while our House is in the middle of a brutal war.
Addendum: I just received the blackbox logs from the skirmish. It appears Konteradmiral Auttenberg was the first to issue an attack order. This is in direct contrast to von Harrisburg's testimony. Here is the raw material: ●

[RM]RWK-Kehrwieder: Kapitaen, you will formally say a big big sorry to this Nachrichtendienst pilots. BDM|Sgt.Liam.Engel: Doesn't this remind you of something, Gerhard? [RM]RWK-Rosenheim: I don't know, where but the order was to defend our station. BDM|B-13: An apology is not needed. BDM|B-13: This man was clearly following orders, he is innocent. [RM]RWK-Rosenheim: I have question to Buro's agents. Why you so interested in our bases? BDM|Sgt.Liam.Engel: I remember when von Braun and Kaiser were put into jail following direct orders. [RM]RWK-Kehrwieder: Some harsh times back in the days. BDM|Sgt.Liam.Engel: Rammstein must be a very nice place when they put every traitor into this place.
