Biographical Information: LNS-Nebraska

The Nebraska was first commissioned to be an almost stationary guard of Willard Research Station along with it's parent battlegroup the 165th. However due to an upgrade of the facility's importance the 165th were shunted sideways for two other superior battlegroups which hosted battlecruisers. Due to this upheaval, the 165th were moved near an area which required more security all the time.

Constructed from the very shipyard that she now guards the Nebraska appears to be just another cruiser in Liberty's fleet. However, after she was moved from Willard Research Station and stationed at Norfolk Shipyard her single-purpose role would prove to be a waste of funds. The entire 165th battlegroup was then retrofitted as naval research ships with communication interception and long-range scanning and analytical capabilities.

The new Captain has been at the helm almost always, as this has been his first captaincy of such a large vessel. He has been ordered in the past to leave the 165th battlegroup and stand guard over West Point Military Academy at certain times when all cadets are absent from the facility training and the academy is left reasonably unprotected. Whilst it was stationed at West Point Military Academy, the Nebraska collected data about the anomalies present within the badlands. All the data collected would be transferred to Willard Research Station by the Nebraska.

It's multi-purpose role as a research ship makes the cost to operate the craft acceptable, however it does not detract from the abilities present within the naval cruiser. The Nebraska is first and foremost a guard of Liberty space and remains capable of out-gunning any other ship of her class.

It's current assignment required the vessel to be decommissioned and recommissioned, this time under the Liberty Security Force for covert operations. The entire 165th battlegroup has also been recommissioned. The purpose for doing so has been classified under the Research and Development Department of the LSF.

Being quite an old craft the forward-firing cannon has proved to be somewhat defective. To ensure that no accidental firing occurs the electronics that connect the cannon to the firing mechanism have been deadcut, so that they must be manually connected in order for the cannon to fire. The crew have been competent enough to ensure that the time taken to connect the cannon and power it up is almost unnoticed.

The quarters on board are the same as any other ship. No comforts will be found onboard.

Crew: LNS-Nebraska

Captain Caden Everett:
The third Captain to take the helm of the Nebraska since Captain Alexander Wright passed away and Captain Wilson Clark was dismissed for conduct issues. He has shown himself to be a capable Captain, however he has shown contempt after being ordered to temporarily separate from the 165th at certain times in order to give capital ship cover to West Point Military Academy. He graduated from West point with honours, even though he was not valedictorian of his class.

Lieutenant Commander Bernard Jackson:
Newly appointed the same time Captain Everett was, due to the forced retirement of Commander Benjamin Carter, first mate to Captain Clark. He is fiercely defensive of the Captain and any of Everett's actions. Being from one of the families that have produced commanding military men and a family that holds immense political sway means that his history of rapid promotions are unlikely to come to an end at his current rank.

Head Communications Officer Kenneth Young:
Runs the communication promotion and interception room on board the Steelwool. Expertly trained in his field. A simpleton when it comes to life, he has no interest in politics or promotions and does his job simply for the regular paycheck. Having absolutely no motivation except the regular payment from the Liberty government, he still excels at his job and prides himself on communication interception.

Master Chief Petty Officer Declan Parker:
The officer in charge of the ship's armory. Consistently insubordinate to all superior officers except Kenneth Young.

BT3 class Robot, call-sign unassigned:
A non-personality programmed, decommissioned humanoid artificial intelligence robot residing in the ship's armory.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.
