Whether or not a faction is granted official status has less to do with simply following the rules during the trial period, and more with following the spirit behind them.

Don't you think there's a small difference between permabanning someone without warning or detailed justification, and not giving official privileges with the invitation to re-submit the application and then even skipping the 6 months waiting period actually prescribed by the existing rules? Even funnier considering you're accusing the very same people who actually rebelled/went on strike and then put an end to heavy-decision "i ban u ha ha suck it down" style admining.

I support skipping the 6 months and making the faction official earlier 100%, but it would be nice if the person whose "I dont care what others think, now care what I think and give me official privileges" attitude caused the first refusal, would also be a little more considerate instead of paint himself as a hero, which he is not.
