I swung by that event. The problem there was having two bases to be sieged at the same time. It split the activity. And maybe they were a little weak. With proper respawn times, use of repair ships, and enough HP it could be done better.
Instead of both sides defending and attacking, it could be just one side on offense, and one side on defense. I suggested a Valor to make it easier on people. The actual thing being attacked should be a docking ring or mooring fixture, and maybe council side should have the target to defend from hitting 0.
If we did both it would be interesting, winner could simply be who destroys the other's target first. I still think in either case that when its over planets and not in an obscure spot like that was in Tau-29 it would make more sense. It still gives the underdog a chance to fight back, even if the outcome winds up the same.
