Character name: Joseph Farley.
Current age of the character: 40.
Biography: Joseph was born in 786 A.S. to a family of Bowex workers and raised on Cambridge. He was an extraordinary clever person, thus he graduated from Cambridge University earlier, than most students and got PhD in Starship Engineering at the age of 23.

Shortly after Farley's graduation, Bowex offered him a position of Chief Engineer on the Scarborough Station, which served as a shipyard for large civilian ships. Joseph worked there for almost 4 years.

When the Tau War broke out in 813 A.S., Joseph decided to quit his job and attended 4-year Starship Command School at Fort Winchester (he completed his training in 2 years). His rapid progression has not gone unnoticed by BAF and since 815 A.S. he participated in development of the new Cromwell-class battleship aboard Southampton Shipyard. Two prototypes of the class were planned to be built: HMS-Cromwell and HMS-Royal.Caridea.

In 818 A.S. Farley was assingned to the newly constructed Caridea as her captain. After a few weeks both prototypes were sent to Tau-31 to assist Macduff Battlegroup in the effort to repel kusarians. The battle of Tau-31 did not go well... With Caridea's core compromised and her engines operating at 25% impulse power she was unable to retreat to Newcastle with the rest of the Battlegroup. Farley decided to hide battleship in the asteroid field.

On December 2nd, 818 A.S., at 1500 he received orders from captain Marshall. Farley and his crew entered cryogenic stasis and waited for the rescue...
