There is a point in that both are violations that can't be absolutely proved, as is almost every violation that can't be shown in chat (like swearing) or in a scan (like that BD ID and tag in a Kusari GB pirateing in Magellian I saw the other day.
Bat and bot trading can be shown on a screenie, while it isn't 100% it's a pretty good indication it happened, and if you are worried about getting reported you can prove it by screening your drop, the same way pirates often need to screenie their money demand.
Reporting someone with false information is a very good reason to get perma banned. That's why I find your example ill, very ill indeed. It also means cheating the administration, which non of us would like to see.
And who on earth says both are violations? Bat/Bot transfer is NOT a violation. Are you a rule writer?
