I don't believe for 1 second that a 22/23 years old GM that spent a lot of time ingame can be objective and unbias. He simply lacks the maturity for this position. This is my own opinion and take it as such. Minimum would be 30 if you ask me.
People wouldn't get picked for the position if they weren't mature enough. Age is fairly irrelevant.
Yes thats why we have so many 20y/o managers, priministers and presidents. Age is directly correlated to maturity. There are exceptions as always but dont talk nonsense.
Your own personal bias about younger people having the position is showing. Contrary to your belief, age is not directly correlated to maturity. It's largely related to life experiences that an individual goes through, as there are many adults both here and elsewhere who simply cannot handle some situations with a modicum of civility and maturity in mind. Temper tantrums happen even to people in their 40s. It could be a variety of reasons from being mentally unprepared or lacking the experience to confront a scenario when faced with one.
Maturity is dependent on life experiences, which doesn't really have anything to do with how old someone is.
I am seeing a lot of negative comments in regards to my own opinion. Let me remind you that i am entitled to my own opinion and so are you, whether it be true or completely laughable.
I sow this thread in the latest activity and posted what first came to my mind. And to all of you commenting let me explain that a male person is maturing physically up to their mid 20'ies and mentally even further then that, should you generilize based on a representative sample. Biology fact. I already wrote that there are exceptions, this means a single person can be well below or well above the average. I did not target anyone by this statement nor do i know who has what age.
People process experience in a different way, the same experience can be processed negatively by some and positively by others. You cannot dump "experience" into a person and say it makes them mature. Life is not an online game. Try running a modern PC game on a pentium 4 and see what happens. Nobody can skip stairs and needs basic requirements for certain type of behaviour and the level of responsibility. Time is the requirement in most cases.
Please don't reply back i do not have any more intention of reading or replying to what makes no sense.
