Well. We need defenders. If we won’t stand against the threats – and the past showed us that these threats are real; they exist – there won’t be much left that may be defended, right? So I’d like to offer my experiences and skills for the defense and the survival of ourselves. What would it be worth if we’d just sit here, hope and pray to not die within the next couple of seconds? Being anxious about to sleep because one could simply never wake up again?
Short biography:
I was born on Planet Honshu just like many generations of my family before me. My family runs a little company down there. It’s not even big enough to be worth mentioning, but it’s enough to live a decent life. Well, actually my parents wanted me to study business and even stay down on the planet to continue what they’re running. Against their expectations I went to the police when I was 16. I learnt everything there and discovered my passion for flying a ship. About a year after I finished my education, I moved on. I quit my job and barely had enough money for a simple vessel. Back then my parents didn’t understand any of my decisions. I bet, they still don’t. Anyways. I started to work as a Freelancer. Escorted convoys here, flew small amounts of cargo there… Experiencing the pain of meeting pirates, diverse confrontations, and so on. I went through the colonies, stayed here and there for a bit. Space is different, the names are different, but the situations seem to be the same everywhere. It happened a couple of years ago. In space I met a Zoner who’s been in troubles with Liberty Rogues. I supported him and escorted him to Freeport 1 in the Omega-3 system. He’s been moving from Bethlehem-Station over to Freeport 1 – quite a long journey. Enough time to talk and learn more about him and the Zoners. Eventually I started my own journey to meet more and more of this community. It seemed to be perfect. Neutrality, Freedom, Independence… And then there are the Omicrons. Far distance to house space. Far distance to the problems. I decided to stay here, travelling between Delta and Theta, always being cautious because of possible threats. I think I’ve been under Zoners for too long to still call myself a Freelancer, yet, I’m still a skilled pilot, willed to fight.
