RNS-Mont Saint Michel, Ile-De-France, 21 Août 742 A.G.S.
To all soldiers of the Marine Royale Gauloise,
These are grave times, the Crown has abandoned us, not only have they abandoned us they have tarred us with the black stain of genocide. We have made multiple attempts to contact the bombardment fleet but to no avail, there is either no answer or a refusal to acknowledge our authority.
Here are your orders hence forth, the King has made his grave with this action, so we will let him lay in it. Your first and only priority is to keep you and your comrades alive, maintain a defense posture, ensure that as many of us can make it safely to Aquitaine as possible, we will decide further fleet movements once that has been achieved. You are under no circumstances to attack refugees or noncombatants, as for defending them from harm; your first priority is to ensure your own survival, but I will not begrudge anybody who’s conscience does not let them stand idly by.
Stay safe out there, for the hope that you may all see your homes and families once more.
