Although i do not doubt the abilities of your staff, i suspect their inexperience with Omicron Theta may have played a part in their calculations.
I wont pretend to understand what is required to crunch these numbers, however there are those on Pygar who do. I commissioned our own investigation using a Corvo cruiser, these ships have the best sensor tech on board that we currently produce.
The crew are telling me that their Dual Extension Vectography System (DEVS) calculations of the system are showing that albeit it would take some effort there is a viable course towards successful construction.
I'm quite happy to set up a meeting if you require your Boffins and mine to meet in order to discuss their results.
