It hasn't worked before, it won't work again.
If the person refuses to answer to your CDs after dropping a line such as "Shut down your engines", and keeps cruising away, you are entitled to destroy him. That's literally all you need to do, it's not hard. I don't see how dropping two macros is gonna make that encounter any different.
